Codex Mirrors is a private, single-user desktop utility for transferring user-authorized local files into a dedicated Google Drive hierarchy.
Google data accessed
Codex Mirrors requests the limited Google Drive drive.file permission. It can access files and folders that it creates through the authorized Google account or that the user explicitly authorizes for the application.
How data is used
Authorized data is used only to upload files selected by the user, reproduce approved folder organization, update authorized mirrored files, compare and verify authorized transfers, and remove test files created by the utility when the user authorizes cleanup.
Credential storage
OAuth credentials are stored in the protected local rclone configuration on the user's computer. OAuth client secrets, access tokens, refresh tokens, passwords, cookies, and authorization codes are not intentionally published to this website.
Data transmission
The desktop workflow sends authorized files between the user's computer and the user's Google Drive account. This public informational website does not receive or store mirrored Google Drive files.
Sharing and sale
Codex Mirrors does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or intentionally share it with unrelated third parties.
Retention and deletion
Files uploaded to Google Drive remain under the user's control. The user can delete those files through Google Drive, remove the local rclone configuration, and revoke access through the user's Google Account.
